Maieutic Practice is coaching that works through the contradiction instead of past it. The deliverable is the held tension, the cleaner question, the thing you couldn't see until someone stayed with it.
There is a category of question — you will recognize yours — that does not close. It does not close on a Friday. It does not close because the next conversation opens it again. It does not close because the work is staying, not finishing.
Most of the help available to you — therapy, advising, mentoring — is built around closing. Therapy treats the question as a symptom and looks for the underlying condition. Advising treats it as a problem and looks for the recommended action. Mentoring treats it as a stage and looks for the next role. These are all good tools. None of them are Maieutic.
Maieutic — the word is Plato's, via his mother — is the practice of midwifery of the soul. The technique is Socratic. The premise is that the answer is already inside you, and that what you need is not a new idea but a cleaner question. The work is the question.

long enough for the answer to earn itself.
Most engagements run as a series of fifty-minute sessions, two to four weeks apart, with a written reflection between each. The written piece is half the work; it is where the cleaner question usually arrives — not in the session itself, but in the days after, when the surface has settled.
The format is set per engagement rather than from a rate card. The model is what I call a design-partner cohort — a small group of practice partners with ongoing engagements, not a sales pipeline.
